Our Club has been recycling unwanted pairs of spectacles; hearing aids; printer cartridges and mobile phones. All items are put to good use to either raise funds or other charities or refurbished to be given to those in need in the Third World
We have distributed over 50,000 of these vital emergency kits mainly through local doctors, chemists and other charities. We also a Wallet sized version to be taken when you are away from home
This is our current President's charity for the year to benefit from the bulk of the proceeds of the Annual Quiz Sheet.
The Sea Cadet Units aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, they learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty and how to be the best version of themselves.
